And the good news is, with Sandtex® Microseal™ Masonry Paints, your walls should stay cleaner longer reducing the need for maintenance.

Here are a few suggestions to help keep a perfect finish:

  • Keep your walls free of creepers like ivy
  • Try not to have flowerbeds right up to the base of your walls, as rain can splash mud up onto the surface
  • When you decide to re paint, you may have forgotten what Sandtex® products you used! So print out our Paint Record form (pdf format) and keep a note of the details for next time. If you're selling your house, include a copy of the Paint Record in your Seller's Guide.

Clean woodwork throughout the year by wiping with a wet cloth and soapy water.
Keep walls free of climbing plants to avoid masonry deterioration.
